Before first use

Avant la première utilisation
At first uses, smoke and odor may come from the appliance. They do not affect the use
of the appliance and disappear quickly.
At first use, small particules may come from the iron. These are part of the production
process and do not affect yourself or your garments. They disappear after few uses.
Use only the appliance on a clear surface to not block the product base ( horizontal or
vertical surfaces).
— What kind of water use?
Your iron has been designed to use tap water. If your water is very hard, mix 50% tap
water and 50% bottled demineralised water.
Lors des premières utilisations, il peut y avoir de la fumée et une odeur provenant de
l’appareil. Elles n’affectent pas l’utilisation de votre appareil et disparaissent rapidement.
Lors de la première utilisation, de petites particules peuvent se dégager de votre fer.
Elles font partie du processus de production et n’affectent ni vous ni vos tissus. Elles
disparaissent après quelques utilisations.
N’utilisez cet appareil que sur une surface dégagée pour ne pas obstruer la base de
l’appareil (surface plane et horizontale).
— Quel type d’eau peut être utilisé ?
Cet appareil est conçu pour être utilisé avec l’eau du robinet non traitée. Dans le cas où
votre eau serait très dure, vous pouvez mélanger 50% d’eau déminéralisée ou distillée
avec 50% d’eau du robinet non traitée.
IMPORTANT
Never use water containing additives (starch, perfume, aromatic
substances, softeners, etc.), or condensation water (for example water from
tumble dryers, water from refrigerators, water from air conditioning units,
rainwater). This water contains organic waste materials or minerals that
concentrate under the effect of heat and cause spitting, brown colouring or
premature ageing of your appliance.
IMPORTANT
Never use your appliance board with a classic iron or a steam generator.
Only use your appliance iron.
